Seeking Volunteers for RTMgrCB
ASTTBC is seeking volunteers to serve as members of Registered Technology Manager Certification Board (RTMgrCB).
The responsibilities of a RTMgrCB member include but not limited to:
- Attend the meetings according to the schedule (a minimum of 3 times attendance in a year needs to be guaranteed)
- Review application files and make recommendations as approval/refusal/deferral (through an online application tool that is accessible 24X7, and necessary training is provided)
- Provide input for policies and procedures related to certification, standards of certification, examinations, level of certification and other matters as may be determined by the ASTTBC Council
The Board meetings are scheduled 5 times a year, normally at 5:00pm-6:30pm on a Tuesday in February, April, June, September and November. The one in June is usually held in person at ASTTBC office in Surrey while the other 4 are held via teleconference and online meeting tool.
Certification Board members are appointed by the ASTTBC Council on a yearly basis. By volunteering to serve as a Certification Board member, ASTTBC recognizes your continued professional commitment and development. Extra CPD points can be earned by serving Certification Boards.
Please let us know if you are willing to serve as a volunteer RTMgr Certification Board member by replying to Julie Li, Coordinator, Compliance and Registrations, at firstname.lastname@example.org by April 2, 2017.
Your continuous support of ASTTBC is appreciated. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
