RTMgr News & Updates...

The RTMgr program will start accepting applications in November 2009 so keep an eye on this site and watch for an official broadcast notice that we are now accepting requests for applications.  The application documents will then be posted to the website for optional download and printing, along with the RTMgr Certification Policy.

If you are one of those who submitted a request via the RTMgr website, don't worry, we will ensure you get the application package.

The RTMgr Certification Board (Board) has been appointed by Council as of October 1, 2009.  Members include: Bill MacPherson, AScT, Grant Lachmuth, AScT, Muhammad A. Amer, AScT, MBA, Mike Lambert, CTech andTom Abbuhl, AScT. Kevin Ramsay, AScT has been appointed as Special Advisor to the Board. Public Representatives include Don Poirier, MA, MBA: Thompson Rivers University and Terry Suen: BC Institute of Technology. Each of these members are highly experienced and qualified managers practicing within a technology environment and will bring a great amount of knowledge to the RTMgr Certification Board.


EXPERIENCED... an RTMgr has a proven track record of success as a manager and a leader in a technology environment.

TRAINED... an RTMgr has demonstrated their ability to apply the principles of technology management, having been evaluated against a set of competencies that cover all keys aspects of the role of manager and leader.
